    Welcome to my web page. I'm a full-time freelance writer of fiction and nonfiction for adults and children. I also teach writing in various venues. My most recent book is UNLOCKING THE ANIMAL MIND, a book about understanding pets' emotional lives, written with Franklin D. McMillan, D.V.M.
